ADLINK Technology, a global leader in edge computing, and SAS, the global leader in analytics, will demonstrate how real-time streaming data with IoT advanced analytics at the edge can maximize machine uptime at the IoT Solutions World Congress (IoTSWC) in Barcelona from Tuesday, Oct. 29, through Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019.
The companies have partnered to deliver an end-to-end machine condition monitoring solution designed to deploy at the edge and reduce the costly downtime of rotating machinery by accurately diagnosing problems, predicting failures and preventing damage.
The solution uses ADLINK’s ruggedized, ultra-compact MCM-100 device and ADLINK Edge™ real-time data streaming software built for data acquisition and continuous vibration monitoring of rotating machinery, tools and equipment. Data flows from the device to
SAS® Event Stream Processing to be analyzed for insights that enable intelligent decision-making at the edge. Machines on a factory floor, for example, represent a common use of this technology.
“Industry is looking for IoT solutions to demonstrate real, measurable business value that are quick and simple to deploy. That is at the centre of our partnership with SAS and the solution we are showcasing at IoTSWC,” explains Lawrence Ross, General Manager of ADLINK’s software and solutions division.
“This demo scenario illustrates the value our partnership with ADLINK can deliver to industry through our combined expertise,” said Jason Mann, Vice President of the IoT division at SAS. “SAS brings its streaming analytics technology powered by edge analytics on ADLINK’s edge environment. It streams and visualizes high volumes of fast-moving data and identifies costly red flags in industrial environments. We are excited to present our combined capabilities with ADLINK in the SAS booth throughout the show.”
Representatives from ADLINK IoT Software & Solutions will be present at the SAS booth C311. Visitors can book an appointment to see the demo here:
